Our first webcam at the Chester Amphitheatre project has been online since June and has proved very popular.  You can visit the camera by visiting the Amphitheatre Project website at http://www.chesteramphitheatre.co.uk/ (external link)

As Chester is a unique, heritage City, however, placing cameras in suitable locations is taking longer than we originally anticipated, mainly as a result of planning restrictions or listed building status which would prevent us from placing a camera in the preferred location.  Rather than put the camera in an unsuitable location as a short term measure, we are still trying to identify suitable locations.
